DESCRIPTION:Groupe de soutien national virtuel en français\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Richard Allen will discuss the genetics of PF in this webinar. He will introduce genetics and how generic variations can lead to disease\, discuss the genetic changes associated with IPF and other forms of PF\, and explore the implications for new treatments and for familial PF patients. His talk will draw on his research funded by Action for PF\, UNK. The presentation is aimed at patients and their families\, although health care professionals may also find it interesting. \nDr. Allen is a lecturer in statistical genetics at the University of Leicester.
