Paralympic Voices of Hope – Brianna Hennessy, Candice Combdon & Jessica Lewis

In this webinar, Paralympians Brianna Hennessy, Candice Combdon, and Jessica Lewis, each of whom overcame life-altering physical and emotional challenges, share their journeys and inspire hope. Life is filled with bumps and things we wish we could change but the beauty of it is finding joy despite those things.

Brianna Hennessy is an accomplished athlete and Paralympian in paracanoe and parakayak for Team Canada. She also represented Canada at the 2023 Wheelchair Rugby Women’s Cup. Prior to her injury, she competed in able-body rugby, ice hockey, ball hockey and was a provincial champion in boxing.

Candice Combdon is a Para-athlete living with Spina Bifida. When she had her right leg amputated due to recurring infections resulting from Spina Bifida, she found her place in Parasport. She competes for Team Ontario and Team Canada as a wheelchair tennis athlete.

Jessica Lewis is a three-time Paralympian, competing for Bermuda in the sport of Para-athletics.
