man sitting on a bench

Noubar, husband to Ardemis, and our dad – our Daddio, was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis early in 2023, though we can say without doubt the symptoms were there long before.

His diagnosis didn’t stop him from doing the things that he loved: fishing, hunting, golfing, travelling, and above all creating memories with his family and many friends. In his last year, from the point of his diagnosis to the end, he lived his life to the fullest. He lived his life day by day, no moment could be wasted, and never planning weeks or months ahead, save for his annual moose hunting trip with his friends.

To our dad, there was no greater honour than the respect of his family and friends. The only silver lining afforded to us in his battle against this cruel disease, is the knowledge that we knew that our time with him was limited.
