A conversation about pulmonary fibrosis featuring Angie Ortlieb

Angie Ortlieb’s dad Bruce was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis (PF) in 2011. Like many, they had never heard about this disease before. Bruce was a hard worker and a proud man. In the early years, after his diagnosis, he continued to build things, do yard work, and spend time with his family.

Bruce wanted to live life and didn’t want to stop doing the things he loved. “Treat me like I’m living”, said Bruce to his family. As time went on Bruce accepted his disease and adapted to his new normal. This is Bruce’s courageous PF journey as told by his daughter Angie.

We celebrate Bruce Ortlieb and thank Angie for sharing her father’s pulmonary fibrosis journey. If you or someone you love is experiencing breathing difficulties talk to your doctor.
